Mental Health

Through acceptance, mindfulness, and occupation-based strategies, occupational therapy can assist individuals living with invisible health conditions to improve their overall quality of life. Through individualized treatment plans, we can assist people with invisible health conditions to learn to better manage symptoms and engage in meaningful occupations (including participating in hobbies, relationships, work, and volunteer pursuits.)

Sleep

Occupational therapy can also provide education on and strategies for sleep. A good night's sleep can mean all the difference to the next day. A poor night's sleep can negatively impact productivity, emotions, and overall wellbeing. An occupational therapy sleep consult focuses on sleep hygiene, sleep schedules, and other strategies (including mindfulness training).
