Melanie Hilborn
Occupational Therapist
Melanie is a Registered Occupational Therapist with a Master's in Occupational Therapy from UBC. She specializes in supporting individuals with mental health challenges, persistent pain, and ADHD. As an adult with ADHD, she brings a deeply personal understanding to her work, using her own experiences as a source of inspiration and insight. This perspective allows Melanie to connect with clients on a meaningful level, helping them deepen their understanding of ADHD and discover practical strategies to navigate daily life with greater ease.
Her background includes over ten years of experience in teaching yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices which she continues to draw on to support her clients. She is committed to increasing awareness and reducing the stigma around mental health, neurodiversity, and disability, empowering clients to embrace their strengths and thrive in their daily lives.
Outside of work, Melanie enjoys cycling, bouldering, hiking, crafting, and dancing. She's also known to dabble in her 'hobby of the month'—her lineup is always in flux!
